Freedom of religion is one of the most prominent topics dealt with in different sciences.

it is a social bond.

anthropologists, religious scholars, and jurists have proven through their studies that it is impossible for society to be a homogeneous whole unless individuals share a belief that unites them.

from a legal perspective, the Algerian legislator has dealt with this sensitive issue and issued legal texts regulating the freedom of religion for Muslims and non-Muslims based on international conventions related to human rights that Algeria has ratified.

however, the followers of religions other than Islam still consider the Algerian legislator's approach to restrict freedom of belief, which is what international human rights organizations have gone to.
