The study attempts to research on one of subjects related to community security on the African continent and its implications primarily for state-building in Africa, which coincided with the domination of globalization and its impact on the identity of society, especially after the cold war and the emergence of rival major powers looking for pretexts to penetrate into the African continent.

the study highlights the internal dimension of the state-building problem resulting mainly from the fragility of the political system and the security situation, and the resulting economic, social and cultural levels, which helped to expand the influence of the ethnic factor in keeping the rift gap between the different sects, and the international dimension based on the external ambitions of the African continent that has geopolitical and economic importance.
