Islam is the state religion in Algeria.
due to its anthropological, socio-cultural and religious specificities, Algeria differs from other countries, especially western countries.
even if the free practice of worship is guaranteed to all individuals, it is framed and must be exercised within the limits imposed by law, particularly when it is a religion other than Islam.
when its limits are crossed, there can be proselytism.
whether Abusif or not, proselytism constitues an attack on the very fondations of the republic, an offense under Algerian criminal law.

L'Islam est la religion d'etat en Algérie.
de part ces spécificités anthropologiques socio-culturelles et religieuses, l'Algérie se distingue des autres pays, notamment des pays occidentaux.
même si la libre pratique du culte y est garantie à tout individu, celle-ci est encadrée et doit être exercée dans les limites imposées par la loi, particulièrement lorsqu'il s'agit d'une religion autre que L'Islam.
lorsque ses limites sont franchies, il peut y avoir prosélytisme.
qu'il soit abusif ou non, le prosélytisme constitue une atteinte aux fondements mêmes de la république, un délit selon le droit pénal Algérien.
