Abstract EN

This is a case study of “Abdul-Majid Ibn Abi Rawad” ; collect what was said in it and weighting them.

then collected his narrations on the authority of imam Malik, and listed what he was wrong about.

the importance of the study is due to two things : the first is that it was dealt with by one of the narrators of Muslim whose speaker is between two extremes.

the other-an investigation of what Ibn Abd al-Barr said : that he made a mistake in hadiths of Malik.

what are these conversations ? and how many ? and what is right in it ? in my study, I followed the inductive approach, by following the sayings of the imams of al-Jarh and al-Ta'deel, and the narrations of the one concerned with the study of Malik in all the printed and manuscript attributed books, and then the critical approach in studying these narrations as a text and a chain of narrators, and verifying what they say in acceptance and response.

in this study, I came to : First-“Abdul Majeed” is a person of religion and worship, but he is a caller to delay, and he is trustworthy if he narrates from Ibn Juraij from his book, and his hadith is considered if it is narrated from his preserved.

second-it is described as posting and not deceiving the term latecomers.

third-among the main reasons for his weakness is his fatwa on the killing of Waki' Bin al-Jarrah, his exaggeration and his call to delay.

fourth-all his narrations of Malik in the books of transmission are six Marfoo' hadiths.

one of them erred in it by agreement, and the rest of the hadiths bear the other reason for their weakness.

this we recommend : 1-studying the translations of different narrators, especially the authentic men.

2-the importance of collecting the sayings of scholars about the differing narrators, studying them and extracting judgments about them.

3-taking into account the terminology of the early imams in the science of Jarh and modification, and their rulings and methods when studying narrators, and being careful in issuing rulings on them, and verifying their intentions before relying on them.
