This research aims to shed light on an important topic which is elocution and its role in establishing communication as well as in transmitting the message, because a mastered and successful elocution has more effect on the soul and mind of the receiver.

elocution is now a science in its own right.

but what is this concept, what are its origins and its role in the communication process ? it is to all these questions that we set out to answer in this work which allowed us to understand the role of elocution in communication in fields as varied as didactics and rhetoric.
