As the oral tradition is a source of interpretations of Maghrebian music, these sounds reveal common characteristics present under the guise of so-called “scholarly” music.
we can notice in particular interpretative and speculative homonyms of the maqâm or the tba’ (mezmûm, subject of our investigation) or even of the mode (in the west), rhythmic similarities (al iqa’ât / al awzân), etc.
the description and the comparative analysis is likely to highlight various specific and distinctive movements of the maqâm and the tubû’ but also of the functioning of their “conceptual and perceptual” precepts.
this explains why the musical dialect and the sound identity emanate from the experience of artists, natives, islanders, etc.
a socio-cultural, psychological, communicative, linguistic, semantic and even philosophical journey encompasses the identity processes of sound and music.
as for meticulous research, it remains essential in order to dissect the elements granting depth to the sound and musical identity, the whole of which strengthens its capacity to build a semantics and a singular communicational cognition.

Comme la tradition orale est source d'interprétations de ces musiques, ces sonorités divulguent des caractéristiques communes présentes sous le couvert de la musique dite «savante».
on peut remarquer notamment des homonymies interprétatives et spéculatives du maqâm ou du tba' (mezmûm, sujet de notre investigation) voire du mode (en occident), des similarités rythmiques (al iqâat), etc.
la description et l'analyse comparative est susceptible de mettre en évidence divers mouvements spécifiques et distinctifs des maqâm et des tubû' mais aussi du fonctionnement de leurs préceptes «conceptuels et perceptuels».
ceci explique que le dialecte musical et l'identité sonore émanent du vécu des artistes, des indigènes, des insulaires, etc.
un cheminement socioculturel, psychologique, communicatif, linguistique, sémantique voire même philosophique englobe les processus identitaires du sonore et du musical lors.
quant à la recherche minutieuse, elle demeure indispensable afin de disséquer les éléments octroyant de la profondeur à l'identité sonore et musicale dont l'ensemble affermit sa capacité à édifier une sémantique et une cognition communicationnelle singulière.
