The study aimed to show the role of competence of management in developing the skills and capabilities of human resources in the enterprise.

in which it contained theoretical part ; explaining the main conceptions of the study ; and practical part based on questionnaire to study the case of a Sonalgaz company in Ain Temouchent, where the data was treated day using SPSS V 20.

the results of the study confirmed that competency management has an important role in the development of individuals efficiency at company concerned with the study, this is done through the using competency enhancement techniques and incentive system.
