The huge increase in the volume of waste of all kinds and from various sources is among the most important challenges that have emerged in recent years.

this study aims to demonstrate development opportunities for waste recycling and call for directing economic and environmental policies, along with promoting and implementing safe alternatives through good waste treatment.

this study recommended the necessity of strengthening the legislative and regulatory system based on a national strategy in the field of waste management in line with the principles of sustainable development, as well as benefiting from successful international experiences in the field of waste recycling, and motivating industrialists to use clean technology, and encouraging them to adopt recycling to reduce costs and preserve the environment.
