Abstract EN

: This study aims to highlight the role of new media in general and the Facebook network in particular in the promotion of crafts and traditional industries in Algeria, considering these media as a space and a contemporary trend that contribute to the definition and development of crafts and traditional industries, through an analytical study where we chose the official Facebook page of the Chamber of Traditional Industry and Crafts in the wilaya of Biskra As a model for the study in order to uncover and promote the craft activities in light of the new media by focusing on this room's use of Facebook as a tool to activate and promote its work, and to address the problem of research and achieve its objectives, the analytical survey method and the content analysis tool were used.

Based on the analysis of the study, I concluded a number of results, the most important of which is that Facebook has become a supportive tool for the promotion of handicrafts and traditional industries in Algeria, to highlight and preserve them.
