Any writer, when faced with the difficult task of putting his thoughts into words, must ask himself how to organize his statements into a coherent sequence.
this principle inherent in the text is the result of a combination of a number of factors including the correct use of connectors.
in the context of this research, relating to textual linguistics, we have dealt with the question of consistency through the capacity of learners to implement said connectors by reinvesting them wisely in their writings.
the study corpus, resulting from written productions with a persuasive aim (argumentative type text) carried out in final letters classes, was the subject of a mixed analysis combining numbers and interpretation.
as the approach is therefore both quantitative and qualitative, we will attempt to find explanations for the inability of learners to produce a coherent text, under the guidance of the connectors and their use.
this will certainly allow us to get an idea of the capacity or inability of learners to use a language point studied in class and supposedly acquired at the service of speech.

Tout scripteur, lorsqu’il est confronté à la rude tâche de mettre ses pensées en mots doit se demander comment organiser ses énoncés en une suite cohérente.
ce principe inhérent au texte est le résultat d’une conjugaison d’un certain nombre de facteurs dont l’usage correct des connecteurs.
dans le cadre de la présente recherche, relevant de la linguistique textuelle, nous avons traité de la question de la cohérence à travers la capacité des apprenants à mettre en oeuvre lesdits connecteurs en les réinvestissant à bon escient dans leurs écrits.
le corpus d’étude, issu de productions écrites à visée persuasive (texte de type argumentatif) accomplies en classes de terminales lettres, a été l’objet d’une analyse mixte alliant les chiffres et l’interprétation.
la démarche étant donc à la fois quantitative et qualitative, nous tenterons de vue de dégager des explications quant à l’incapacité des apprenants à produire un texte cohérent, et ce, sous la houlette des connecteurs et leur usage.
cela nous permettra, à coup sûr, de nous faire une idée sur la capacité ou l’incapacité des apprenants à mettre au service du discours un point de langue étudié en classe et censé avoir été acquis.
