It can be said that human intellectual practices were philosophical in their entirety, as there was no clear distinction between philosophical and scientific research.

this problem emerged with some clarity in the 17th century, namely the separation of physical sciences from philosophy because the latter's approaches were no longer sufficient to satisfy the scientific need.

then, other sciences followed the separation, which raised the problem of the distinction between scientific and philosophical on the pretext that the first is more accurate in its results and more secure, which became a fact through which the human mind begins to establish the features of thought.

our research paper aims to analyzing Edmund Husserl’s view of this issue differently, as he believed that philosophy outperforms science in accuracy and certainty due to its foundations of research concerning perspective and scientific hypothesis.

true philosophy is not the one that the former has researched and failed in its approach, but rather the phenomenological approach, which limits the crisis of the European mind in its pursuit of philosophical thought.

our study adopted the analytical approach, producing scientific and cognitive results in the history of human thought in general and the history of philosophical thought in particular.
