Abstract EN

This article aims at highlighting the new roles and duties that are attributed to the university teacher under the principle of quality education.

This principle has brought a new perspective to the roles of the university teacher.

After being viewed as a mere transmitter of knowledge, university teachers are now supposed to teach, conduct research and find ways of serving their society.

However, since the principle of quality assurance relies mainly on the instructor in ameliorating the quality of higher education, the efforts of university teachers will be focused on improving all the aspects of their teaching.
