Abstract EN

The research aimed at identifying the degree of administrative empowerment within the academic departments from the point of view of faculty members in the Faculty of Education, University of Khartoum.

The researcher used the descriptive approach.

The research community may be 173 faculty members.

The researcher chose a simple random sample of 45 individuals with 26%.

The researcher used the questionnaire as the main tool for collecting the required data.

The questionnaire was sent to all respondents.

To analyze the data statistically, the researcher used the SPSS program.

The research reached several results, the most important of which is: The degree of practice of the dimensions of administrative empowerment in the Faculty of Education came to a great extent, the highest degree of practice was in favor after participation in decision-making and below to the dimension of the culture of administrative empowerment.

In light of these findings, the research concluded several recommendations, including: The management of the college should pay attention to motivate the faculty members financially and morally especially the distinguished ones, the need to pay attention to the availability of the culture of administrative empowerment within the college.
