The topic of this article is the study of the thresholds of the novelistic text labelled: Mister General, of the Algerian novelistic Kamel Karour, the thresholds are a critical modern term introduced by the French critic Gerard Genette in his book the resholds seuils in 1987, thresholds or the parallel text or the adjacent text or the Para text are the a translations for the same term which indicates all what surround a text as: utters, pictures, symbols or else, which are not included in the text, as: the title, deductions or the preface, the thing that facilitates the process of conveying the text to receivers, and the novelistic text Mister General is rich of these thresholds which most of them revolve around dictator ship unfairness, domination and its consequence or the tyrant and the oppressed.
