Abstract EN

The developments and deep changes taking place in the international community have led to the abandonment of old beliefs and postulates and the adoption of forms of cooperation instead of the method of confrontation and the pursuit of the principles of humanity, political and social democracy, and the strengthening of constitutions with these universal principles.

From human rights and the guarantee of public freedoms contained in international conventions, this concern went beyond the scope of the constitution and the borders of states, then turned into a global question, and the international community sought to internationalize it and place it in the protection of international law.

For this reason, we decided to address this important issue in Iraq, especially in the Iraqi constitution for the year 5002 and compare it with the old constitutions of Iraq, as well as compare it with the constitutions, civilized countries, and their compatibility with this new approach.
