Abstract EN

This study dealt with the problem of the ISO 14000 environmental management system in Algeria, and our aim was to diagnose the national standardization system in Algeria, and the extent to which economic institutions in Algeria adopt the international standards related to the environmental management system, and we used the descriptive analytical approach, and we concluded that Algeria made a significant effort to build a national standardization system And many programs for the rehabilitation of institutions and their access to standard specifications, and that the adoption of the ISO 14000 environmental management system in Algeria is still small, as we have noted the need to raise the level of environmental awareness, and urged economic institutions to adopt the ISO 14000 environmental management system, and benefit from rehabilitation programs, especially Related to obtaining standard specifications.
