Abstract EN

The water issue has dominated all Algerian efforts to try to overcome obstacles to providing and maintaining water sources in the short and long term, due to the strategic importance of the water resource, especially in light of contemporary changes, and the study mainly aimed to identify the reality of water governance in Algeria and to present the most important Mechanisms and frameworks that can contribute and support the state's adoption of water governance principles and the level of their application.

As for the main hypothesis on which the study is based, that water governance is a mechanism and a strategic choice that can have a positive impact on the management and management of water services in financial, technical and administrative terms.

The study focused on the most important efforts made on water governance in Algeria and the most important resources available to it, using the descriptive and analytical approach based on collecting data and information that helps to accurately describe the problem, relying on reviewing some documents, reports and scientific literature published in the field.

The study reached many results, the most prominent of which is taking the initiative in adopting new global methods in the framework of water governance The management of its resource management, which was the introduction of the experience of managing the mandate
