The present study aimed to identify the reality of detection and care for gifted and gifted children in the primary school, where the information was collected through a tool prepared by the researcher, consisting of two dimensions: the first included the detection mechanism, while the second was devoted to the mechanism of sponsorship.

The descriptive curriculum and a set of computational methods such as repetitions and percentages were used.
