Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to identify the educational role of young people in the light of the prophetic Sunnah, using the historical method of deduction and induction.

this was conducted by tracking, extrapolating and analyzing the hadiths in which young people are mentioned in order to identify their educational role.

the study results revealed that the most conspicuous tasks that young people did, where no one else did, was the task of maintaining security and defending religion and homeland.

the prophet(PBUH) entrusted them with the task of commanding the armies at times, the task of personal protection and the conduct of special operations at other times, such as reconnoitering information about the enemy and, carrying out assassinations of the most dangerous enemies of the state.

young people had contributed to the economic development and the fight against poverty and unemployment, etc.

they excelled in various professions, crafts and industries, including scholars, teachers, physicians, blacksmiths, farmers and honest traders, etc.

they also had a clear influence on the renaissance of scientific, intellectual, dawah and educational efforts in the first Muslim society.
