This article is meant to show the role of kids' popular songs.

Besides being one of the most efficient means of entertainment for children, these songs have certain importance in teaching through the lyrics that go hand in hand with music, generally, this kind of songs are meant to teach the kids (the days of the week, the colors, mathematics, the months...

etc) and we usually find that the kids memorize the names of these elements without even considering the meaning of each word.

through this article, we tried to investigate learning and teaching dimensions carried by some Algerian popular songs in which children are targeted .

We ended up resulting positive impact which concludes that the popular song carries too many teaching information, the latter, enables the child to realize their meanings only throughout playing.
