Abstract EN

Through this crisis, social distancing followed by the suspension of the university's scientific and research activities was forced upon us, and thus caused the parties of the scientific research system a crucial problem because of the lack of communication between them.

Due to the low of investment of university in digital information systems that would allow them to overcome that problem, the educational process had to be moved to social networks as a mean to communicate.

This study aims to find out the role played by social media in strengthening scientific communication during the Corona pandemic and to reveal the extent of the contribution These sites open new horizons for communication between the professor and the student, in addition to assessing the status and future of their use in scientific communication.

A study was done; in this subject, on a group of professors and students using social sites, based on the reliance on the descriptive method through the use of the electronic questionnaire as an essential tool to collect information from researchers in order to identify the phenomenon, while adopting the method of scanning the sample to reach the study community and this is cannot comprehensively limit this society due to its size from the employed sample intended to send the questionnaire to the researchers, who we believe has the qualities and characteristics expressing the specificity of the whole community.
