Abstract EN
This article aims to highlight the vitality and flexibility of the Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) Sharia.
After the humanity has matured and settled, reaching its prime, Allah has sent the final of the Prophets, Mohammed, with a vital and flexible Sharia, being applicable in every time and place.
However, unfortunately, many scholars and Islam theoreticians failed in the past to identify this basic virtue of Sharia.
This research explores this virtue in some of the agreed upon and disputed sources of Sharia, through an introduction, two sections and conclusion.
The research employs the inductive and analytic approach.
The study concludes that the danger lies in restoring the ancestors’ (Salaf) understanding of the meaning of the universality of Sharia.
Islam has entrusted its provisions with descriptions, through which it preserves the uniqueness of nations each, specifically at the time when globalization has overwhelmed the peculiarities of peoples and their behavior.
