Abstract EN

This article addresses the issue of profit in terms of its linguistic and technical definitions and the evidence of its legitimacy, as well as the factors of this legitimacy such as usury, deception, unfairness and hording, through introducing it, and highlighting its provision in Sharia.

In addition, the researcher also sheds light on the three types of profits, namely allowed, prohibited and different.

The research employs the inductive and analytical approaches.

The most important findings are: Sharia emerges to achieve and protect the benefits of the individual and society.

Sharia allows people to buy and sell, and protect other financial transactions, setting restrictions on how to obtain legal and allowable profit.

The researcher recommends that further studies should be conducted in similar topics to prevent financial transactions from irregularities.
