in this regard, the Algerian competition council has carried out a detailed study on the pharmaceutical market, which is an important market´s sector in Algeria.

that it´s linked directly to the constitutional right to health, so that medicines are the primary guarantor of health care, on one hand and its economic importance as a strategic market on the other.

that’s what makes it distinct from other consumer markets.

this article focuses on the conceptional framework of this market by highlighting its definition, types characteristics and advantages, as well as the barriers that facing the competition within it, in accordance with the opinion of the competition council.
