Abstract EN

The article aims to confirm that the Holy Qur’an is the primary source of instilling hope in the souls and preventing despair, however the reasons.

The Holy Qur’an treats the affliction of repeating the sin so as not to reach despair.

The study employs the inductive, analytical and deductive approach, extrapolating the Holy verses under the topic of the research, analyzing and classifying them into topics.

This is because each should be studied under each topic, eliciting the meanings and connotations by considering scholars of interpretation’s opinions.

The study concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are: Islam rejects despair, however the reasons.

The possibility of repentance is always open even if the sin is repeated.

It is recommended that further Qur’an studies should be conducted to study cases that bring despair and got treated by the Holy Qur’an.
