Abstract EN

This article aims to highlight the Islamic scientific approach, which is based on reason and construction, and how Muslim scholars have been able to serve humanity, with unprecedented original scientific accomplishments.

These accomplishments are still witnesses of their great contribution and their nation.

It also aims to shed light on why this Arab-Islamic scientific tide, their scientific achievements and creativity have stopped and disappeared from the global scientific scene.

This has led to scientific backwardness of these scholars and their scientific accomplishments, having in mind how to bridge the scientific gap between such scholars and the developed world.

The study employs the historical descriptive approach to achieve its objectives.

Thus, it concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are: the Islamic approach is capable of coping with the developments of the modern era.

The Islamic world today lives in a deteriorating state of scientific backwardness, and the spread of ignorance and illiteracy, despite the fact that Islamic scholars are the true contributors of this science, and whoss foundations and theories that are still references to all sciences in the esteemed international universities, and despite also the existence of the Holy Qur’an and its scientific approach, and possession of great intellectuals.

The most important reason of the scientific backwardness is the migration of Arab-Islamic intellectuals to developed countries.

Islamic scholars become uninterested in scientific research, applied sciences and developing local experiences.
