Abstract EN

This article aims to study Kuwait’s role in solving the geopolitical crisis in the Gulf.

The study comes with the emergence of a crisis threatening the existence and continuation of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

This crisis caught fire between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain that tried to preserve the security of the GCC States, on the one hand, and Qatar, on the other hand.

The former States try also to stop some regional policies threatening GCC security.

The latter, however, claims that Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain are the means of interventions for regional greed.

Any observer of the crisis finds it difficult to understand the reasons and motives of it, but there are a number of factors and reasons that sparked the crisis.

Thus, there is a dire need of developing some visions that help to bridge the gap and solve the crisis.

The study focuses on the role of Kuwait in solving this crisis, exploring the best solutions.

The study concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are: Kuwaiti role is by no means less than that of America.

The Gulf crisis can last longer due to the lack of a consensual solution that satisfies all GCC States.

The crisis, though emerging suddenly, has had hidden roots and reasons.
