Abstract EN

This article aims to examine the effect of summarization carried out by Imam Thahabi in his edition through collecting and abandoning the weak’s narration in his other editions.

It is very important specifically if the provisions were Imam Thahabi’s, who is considered trustworthy in this regard.

It is also of equal importance to know that and draw the scholars’ attention to it, besides the fact that Imam Thahabi did not tackle all faults, and that he did not exert all efforts in doing so.

It is thus somehow a summarization with some jokes.

The study concludes with some results, the most important of which are: 1.

His summarization of the book effects his abandoning of some faults, as he just alludes to one or two faults.

The number of narrators is twenty.

3.

These narrators are all weak or unknown, and abandoning to judge their narrations as if they are accepted.

4.

Most of these narrators were mentioned in his editions except five who will be mentioned in the text of this research, which is meant for the sake of summarization.
