Abstract EN

This article aims to address pragmatics or the linguistic use in the syntactic books.

Pragmatics is a theory based on the study of language in use in real life situations.

It deals with clarifying the ambiguity and mysteriousness in the isolated structures or phrase.

The best way to handle these structures is to study them in their use and communication between the speaker and addressee.

This theory is based in the first place on the basis of the link between the linguistic system and how it is used, thus meeting the science of syntax, “one of the most important sciences of Arabic” through studying Ibn Alsarraj’s book “Usul in Syntax”.

The study has two parts- theoretical and empirical.

The former includes important introductions and pragmatics features, and the latter tries to apply these pragmatics features on the book “Usul in Syntax”.

The study concludes with the findings of the research.
