Abstract EN

This article aims to explore the issue of compatibility of Yemeni national laws with international treaties.

For a treaty to be effective and abided by, it has to undergo a number of procedures such as attestation, during which the concerned authorities review the treaty, and to what extent it is compatible with the internal legislative system of the State.

If there is no compatibility, the State should provide solutions to it through a compatibility process, being very important necessitated by the nature of treaty.

It is, in other words, a contract in Islam, which must be respected.

Likewise, if the State does not carry it out, it will be exposed to risk, in accordance with the International Law.

The study also clarifies the phase in which the treaty becomes effective among partners, according to the national and international laws, specifically the Yemeni Law.

The researcher also extends his concerns to tackle the extent to which Yemen carries out the treaties with international partners.
