Abstract EN

This article aims to highlight the Imam Alisnawi’s jurisprudential approach through his jurisprudential compilations, by introducing his personality and highlighting his jurisprudential status.

It is also through explaining his jurisprudential approach in presentation, reasoning and preference, and his efforts and contributions to the service of Shafi'i school.

The study employs the inductive and the descriptive approaches.

It presents Imam Alisnawi to enjoy a prominent status in the Shafi’i school due to his jurisprudential and fundamentalist production, explaining the jurisprudential approach that he followed in his books through reasoning and approach in presenting the jurists’ opinions, his criticism and his tracing of Imams’ doctrine, and his special attention to preference and the statement of the adopted doctrine.
