Praise be to Allah and his blessings be upon his messenger, Mohammed, his family and companions.

this article deals with the qur’anic readings and Yemeni dialects, some sort of exploring and collecting some dialects and pinpointing their relation with the qur’anic readings.

it is also some sort of proving the Arabic dialects based on the most reliable source, viz.

the qur’anic readings, which were revealed with Arabic dialects.

it is also a documentation of Yemeni standard Arabic dialects.

the article is divided into five sections, namely an introduction, introducing the Qur’anic readings, Imaala in the Qur’anic readings and the Yemeni dialects, haa Alsakt, Alitba’ Alharaki, the utterances : (‘atel) and (sabgh) and the conclusion includes the findings.
