Abstract EN

The current study aimed at building an enrichment program based on service learning, measuring its effectiveness in developing social life skills and awareness of sustainable development, in addition to measuring the correlation and predictive de- pendence between the approved variables.

The study community included first-level secondary students in government schools for boys in the education of the city of Yanbu, and they numbered (840) students.

The sample of the randomized study avail- able was at the first secondary level students in King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman A1 Saud Secondary School in Yanbu, and they were (30) students.

The study followed a quasi-experimental approach - with one group design.

Two tools were used to collect data: test of attitudes for social life skills, and measure of awareness for sustainable development.

The data were analyzed using a set of appropriate descriptive and infer- ential statistical methods through the SPSS program.

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a<0.01) between the mean scores of the study group in the pre and post applications in both the attitudes test for social life skills and the measure of aware- ness for sustainable development in favor of post application.

The results also showed a high effect of the proposed enrichment program in the sample, where the impact factor (ETA squared) for the approved variables was (0.98; 0.93), respectively.

The ra- tio of Blacks modulus to the adjusted gain of the accredited variables reached (1.36%; 1.39%), respectively, which indicates the effectiveness of the enrichment program based on service-learning projects in developing the accredited variables.

Moreover; The results revealed that there was a positive and medium positive correlation rela- tionship (0,505) at the significance level (a<0.01) between the two approved variables.

The results also revealed that there was a linear predictive dependence relationship for the beta value of (0.71; 0.36) at the significance level (a<0.01) between the two variables approved in raising each other to the other level.

Based on the results of the study; A range of related recommendations and proposals were submitted.
