Abstract EN

This article aims to get to know the degree of practicing administrative transparency and its relation with job satisfaction of the teaching staff in Saudi universities.

to achieve this objective, the descriptive correlative approach was used.

a sample of (1669) teaching staff at the universities of Taibah, King Saud, King Khaled, and Tabook were selected to represent the population to who the questionnaire was distributed.

accordingly, the study showed that the degree of practicing administrative transparency in Saudi universities was average ; the level of job satisfaction was high ; and there was a positive relation between administrative transparency and job satisfaction of the teaching staff.

the study concludes with a number of recommendations; the most important of which are: reconsidering the laws and regulations issued by the university in a way that makes them completely clear and not subject to interpretation.
