Abstract EN

This articles aims to get to know the marital rights of each spouse and the importance of doing them.

the importance of marital rights appear vividly when considering the ratio of the high number of divorce cases in Islamic countries, and the reasons are no more than failing to do the marital rights by one of the spouses or both.

the happiness of both spouses, and the family as a whole, is very much conditioned by doing the marital rights.

the marital relation can be a across-life relation, and depend mainly on doing the marital rights, which make it strong and well-connected.

the study concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are : Muslim scientists care a lot for the marital rights and document their work in either poetry or prose.

the justice of sharia appears clearly through setting forth rights and duties of every family member, especially the husband.

the reward of doing these rights is paradise.

sharia has glorified the woman- the wife, and her status giving her rights and duties equal to those of the man- the husband, which is different from the way she was treated before Islam.

in that period, women lived and experienced injustice, inequality, oppression, and deprivation of her rights in previous civilizations.
