Abstract EN

This article aims to clarify the concept of the Islamic identity, its characteristics and the pillars on which it is based, as well as its importance for Muslims.

It also aims to highlight the meaning of the call for innovating the religious discourse and the stages this call has undergone, the danger it carries for the Islamic identity, the future of the Islamic nation, and the position of Muslim scholars on this call.

The researchers employ the inductive descriptive approach.

The most important findings of the study are: the Islamic identity is the most honorable belonging.

The call for innovating the religious discourse led by the United States of America is a malicious claim.

It has nothing to do with innovating the Islamic discourse whose purpose is to get it back to the time of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), The United States’ call is an oldmodern claim, going through several stages, whose purpose is to undermine Islam, weakening Muslims and eliminating their Islamic identity, leading to defeating Muslims, creating doubts in their religion and stopping them from restoring their glory and strength.

Such a call should be defeated and at least stopped by all Muslims through solidarity and cooperation.
