Abstract EN

This article aims to explore the reality of postgraduate studies from the public education teachers’ perspective in Yanbu’ city.

the statistical differences are attributed to the difference in academic qualification, study level, years of experience and joining postgraduate studies.

the researcher employs the descriptive and survey approach, using questionnaire as an instrument for collecting information.

it includes 20 items, distributed randomly to the teachers in question, leading to a sample of 200 teachers.

the SPSS program has been used to analyze the data, and the most important findings are as follows : 1.

the teachers’ high positive attitudes stipulate that continuing postgraduate studies broadens the desired educational awareness, benefits teachers on personal level, develops the researching personality, leads to professional growth and opens new doors for leadership positions.

the teachers’ low attitudes consists in the fact that the conditions of scholarships are logical, getting admission for postgraduate studiesis possible and thus the seats are sufficient.
