Abstract EN

This article aims to elicit the Holy Qur’an guides in “and fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you only” [Alanfal, 25], with clarifying the meanings of words, and how to apply these guides in the realty of Ummah.

It concludes with a number of results, the most important of which are: (1) The greatest reason for the Muslims’ worldly punishments is negligence in duties and committing sins, morally and sensually.

The Muslim must fear Allah by doing His commands and avoiding His prohibitions, including: enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil.

(2) Avoiding general temptations and worldly punishments includes several producers such as enjoining good and forbidding evil, warning against the prevalence of evils, forbidding oppressors from injustice, spreading justice among people and spreading useful knowledge.

If temptations occur, they involve all people, not only who do sins, as they do not stop them.

(3) It is of useful knowledge to know Allah’s attributes, so that people get to know Allah’s greatness, and fear the severity of His punishment in this World and Hereafter.

(4) The Holy Qur’an wonders and guidance are by no means finished, and the field of inferring its guides is a vast area, as in: “We have made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; then, is there anyone who will remember?”
