Abstract EN

This article aims to highlight one of the moral education aspects in the Holy Qur’an and its eloquence through studying the qur’anic similes and inferring their educational dimensions and their faithful implications in Surat Alkahf.

this inference is done aiming to enrich the qur’anic educational space.

the study employs the inductive approach, tracing and collecting the verses that involve similes, and then analyzing these verses pinpointing the elements of similes and the overall meaning of the verse.

the moral educational dimension has been highlighted employing the analytical approach.

the study concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are : the Holy Qur’an carries moral educational values, purifying the self, making the human mind always alert.

the Holy Qur’an has a number of varied methods and optimal ways aiming at instilling the values and consolidating the best morals.

one of these methods is simile which is considered one of the unique methods in the moral education in the Holy Qur’an, promoting the concepts and values in an elegant rhetorical style.
