Abstract EN

This article aims to study some important concepts such as financial markets and social media, how they start and how to know the strategy of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States in combating social media crimes related to the financial market, and the nature of legal laws protecting these markets from rumors.

The study employs the descriptive analytical approach in analyzing the data.

The most important findings are: the legal protection means protecting individuals and their rights based on legal provisions.

Social media has positive effects including disseminating goods.

It has negative effects, however, including rumors, namely false ads.

The GCC States consider several strategies to protect financial markets.

These include preventive media, security protection, opening direct communication channels.

The GCC States have enacted laws to identify the spreaders of these rumors that harm financial markets.
