Abstract EN

This article aims to address the concept of reward and punishment and their educational effects in the light of the Qur’anic story in Surat Alkahf, getting to know the reality of this phenomenon.

The study employs the inductive analytical approach.

It concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are: reward and punishment are a necessary step in the positive educational process due to having great educational and psychological effects for achieving the motives and restrictions necessary for each.

The study thus recommends the authors to study the Holy Qur’an and Sunna from an educational perspective to build Islamic educational concept stemming from the Holy Qur’an and Sunna to resist the educational world westernization.
