Abstract EN

This article aims to get to know the effect of Islamic values on career commitment of academic faculty and staff in Libyan universities.

the effect of Islamic values was measured based on four dimensions, namely honesty, sincerity, awareness of conscience and patience and modesty.

the study employs the descriptive and analytical approach.

the study population consists of all faculty and staff in three Libyan universities, viz.

Tripoli university, Zawia university and Saratha university.

the sample of the study consists of 370 out of 12621 people, i.e.

the total number the study population.

the SPSS program has been used to analyze the data to ensure the validity and reliability of the results and analyze the data of the study aims such as descriptive statistical analysis, correlation test and deviation test.

the results of the study show that there is a statistical relationship between the Islamic values and career commitment of faculty and staff in Libyan universities.

this means that (honesty, sincerity, awareness of conscience and patience and modesty) has a direct and positive effect on career commitment in the universities under study.
