Opposite to cuesta , there is an ideal calcareous duricrust which forms a horizontal extended layer ranging in thickness between 70 - 120 cms.

This duricrust may date back to the Early Quaternary pluvial epoch ; it was formed and increasingly developed through the arid and humid consecutive periods .

Over the cuesta's back , some shoots of karstic activity which gives some indistinct beginning for lapiez with CM dimensions completely obliterated under remains surface covered with finer calcification as a result of physical weathering.
