Abstract EN

Human always played sports in ancient history when it used to be individual activities with no violence or hassle .

Those games included; horse riding, and swimming.

Sport is so popular all around the world that has become not only important for athletes but it attracts more other people in media, business men, and statesmen as it has so many benefits in all fields of life .

The importance of sport led the Libyan state to focus more on its activities by issuing different laws that encourages people to do sports.

In addition, these laws help developing, evolving, and spreading it all over the state.

As sport is a physical activity, the injuries, bruises and bone breaks are more likely to happen with athletes.

Sports injuries have physical, psychological and economical effects.

Such subjects were important to go through the laws that covers legal relations in the field of sports.

The importance of these laws played the biggest role in writing this research, especially when it comes to legal responsibility.

And most importantly the Libyan civil law didn’t address special regulations that handle these issues, wherefore, it was a must to look into the laws that deal with compensation for sports injuries issues.
