هدف بحثنا هذا إلى التعرف على أهمية المؤسسات الصغيرة و المتوسطة في تنمية النشاط الاقتصادي، وتوصلنا إلى أنها تساهم بصورة واضحة في ترقية النشاط الاقتصادي و الجانب الاجتماعي، فهي تملك من عناصر النجاح ما يمكنها من التفوق في العديد من المجالات.
.
كما أنها تحقق معدلات تشغيلية عالية، و معدات نمو معتبرة في القيمة المضافة و مناصب الشغل، إضافة إلى العديد من الأدوار الاقتصادية و الاجتماعية التي لم تقف العوائق و المشاكل التي تواجهها (كصعوبة الحصول على التمويل) حائلا دونها.
