Abstract EN

This Study aimed at identifying the most important aesthetic values that draw the attention of the reader in the four novels written by the Saudi novelist Alwan A1-Suhimi: Hayat benesfwajeh( A half-face Life ), A1-Qar ( The Tar), Alard la Tu- habi Ahda ( The Earth is unbiased) and A1-Dood ( The Worms ).

The main character in each novel suffers from two manifesta- tions: the firQ, "Illness" physically; organic disease or physical disability, and the second is a case of psychological concern that characterizes the character.

The person having the same person- ality and having a direct relationship with the illness, or it is this illness which causes the suffering of this person to be concerned; in other words, the relationship between "illness" and "anxiety" is a hierarchical relationship, cause or result.

Hence, this Qudy will deal with this aspect in two axes: The first is the relationship between the ailing character with the other characters, the second is personal and event, , time and place, in direct contact with the hierarchy of cases of morbidity' and anxiety.
