Abstract EN

The importance of educational support services lies in promoting the academic and professional ex- cellence of the Student.

Therefore, educational institutions have paid great attention to developing and improv- ing their services through continuous review and evaluation of all performance indicators of these services.

The evaluation processes provide a comprehensive and accurate descriptive analysis of all the Steps and mechanisms followed by the service provider, highlighting and Strengthening positive practices and identifying the most important weaknesses in order to improve and develop them to make the provision of supporting educational services more effective and achieve the aspirations.

This Study aims to evaluate the educational support services and their importance in improving the academic experience of the Student through a real underQanding of the role of educational support services.

It contributes to the development of policies and Strategies to support the academic field through the theory of Logic Model of Evaluation, and draws the necessary trends in improv- ing the quality of service in university education.

The current Study population consiQs of all beneficiaries of educational support services (male and female Students) at Umm A1-Qura University at the University's main headquarters in Makkah and all its branches.

Because of the large size of the population that is estimated to be about 100,000 Qudents enrolled during the second semeQer of the academic year 1439-1440, a representative random sample of 400 Students and 62 faculty members was taken.

The results of the Qudy show that Students are aware of the importance of educational support services and their role in developing the academic and professional skills of Students.

The results of this Study also show the importance of social media for service providers in the dissemination of the announcement of these services and their locations, which enables the students to be present and benefit from those services.

The Study also shows the effect of the number of weekly visits to benefit from the educational support services on the academic achievement.

The Study shows the great role of cooperation between the parties of the educational process, the Student and the teacher, in producing a generation capable of assessing its needs, developing itself, and filling all the scientific and professional gaps necessary to keep pace with the aspirations ofthe community and to achieve the necessary skills to ensure the functional competitiveness of all university graduates.

The results of this evaluation will be used to support decision makers and managers to identify and address all aspects of weaknesses and to promote positive aspects in all educational support services and in turn will make the educational process more effective in achieving its future goals.

This Qudy will also help in gaining a deeper understanding of a Strong evaluation model for Saudi universities in terms of educational support services.
