Abstract EN

The Study aims at measuring the impact of practic- ing electronic games on the development of language concepts and social interaction in the kindergarten Stage fromtheir parentspoint of view.

The researcher used the analytical descriptive method and A random sample of (240) parents of kindergarten children was selected from(Riyad, Madinah and Jeddah) in Saudi Arabia, and a questionnaire was adopted as a tool for collecting data.The results indicated that the practice of electronic games greatly affect the development of language concepts and social interaction among kindergarten children.Results also pointed out that there are no Statis- tically significant differences between the average score of the im- pact of electronic games on the development of language concepts and social interaction among kindergarten children From the point of view of their parents according to the variables of (gender, age, governorate, play time duration).The Qudy recommended the need for specialists such as academics and kindergarten workers at this Stage to include programs and curricula with computer-based learn- ing games, in addition to work on holding seminars and distribution of bulletins; to educate decision makers in general and parents and teachers in particular about the dangers of electronic games and its impact on the social interaction of children with those around them.
