This study aimed to clarify the concept of time and the term semiotics, and then study the paradoxes of time, which are represented in the two structures of anticipation and retrieval and study them in some detail.

In this study, I followed the inductive and practical approach through describing the issue of time, anticipation and retrieval, and then applying it to the story.
