Abstract EN

This study deals with the phenomenon of the night by its quiet nature ( the meaning of the night in the pre-Islamic poetry ).

The importance of this group is due to the knowledge of the meaning of the night in the language and its terminology, and to highlights a number of indication that reveal new aspects of the experience of the pre-Islamic poets and the appearance of the night as a natural phenomenon .

The result of this descriptive study include : that the night was a cause for pain ,anxieties , grief and worry, as well as a scene to show pictures of courage and fearlessness, and also a cause of happiness and purity of heart through the convergence of lovers .
